Ever since I have been able to think, I wanted to be on stage. I wanted to be a performer, an actress, a violinist, a singer.
Since I was 14 years old, I wanted to become a musical actress.
I wrote about it in this post a year ago. I wouldn’t have thought that only one year later I would start my career as a musical actress.
Most people would say that I didn’t start yet because I didn’t enroll to stage school yet. But a career doesn’t start the day you attend a class.
Indeed, it can never start, even though you’ve been involved in it for a while.
A career starts in the moment when you make the decision to commit to that one thing that means the most to you. and that should be yourself. And you totally commit to yourself when you start doing more of what makes you happy. When you truly start chasing your dreams because you believe that you’re gonna live it one day.
This is why there is no such thing as “just a dream”. Because a dream is a wish your heart makes. and when you stop listening to your heart, you can as well die and leave this planet. Because thats way more enjoyable than an existence on earth that doesn’t matter…and it only starts to matter when you start listening to your heart – and follow your call. Because one day, your time will be up.
Half of my life I buried my big dream. Its time to get the tools out and dig deep. Deeper than ever before. Because depth is what makes us happier. Happier than perfect. <3
